Decolagem
In collaboration with Merian Soto
In this collaboration with Puerto Rican choreographer and dancer Merián Soto, we developed a language where the boundaries between the dancer, the instrumentalist, and the performer became completely blurred. Decolagem also emerged as a dialogue between the performing arts and the forest, exploring how nature can inhabit our bodies and activate both individual and collective movement and imagination. Decolagem premiered and was performed in February 2024 at the Conwell Dance Theater in Philadelphia, USA.
